АРАБО-ІЗРАЇЛЬСЬКИЙ КОНФЛІКТ І ВИНИКНЕННЯ ПРОБЛЕМИ ПАЛЕСТИНСЬКИХ БІЖЕНЦІВ

Анотація. Мета дослідження – проаналізувати витоки арабо-ізраїльського конфлікту та охарактеризувати виникнення проблеми палестинських біженців. Методологію дослідження становлять загальнонаукові методи, насамперед аналізу і синтезу, а також узагальнення. Наукова новизна статті полягає у тому, що на основі критичного аналізу джерел та наукової літератури, здійснено спробу комплексного
розгляду питання витоків арабо-ізраїльського конфлікту і виникнення проблеми палестинських біженців. Висновки. Арабо-ізраїльський конфлікт ‒ протистояння між арабським і єврейським населенням, що стосується приналежності Палестини і Єрусалиму, які кожна зі сторін вважає своєю історичною Батьківщиною. Витоки Близькосхідного конфлікту сягають кінця ХІХ ст., коли було започатковано сіоністський рух та розпочалася єврейська імміграція в Палестину, що стало причиною ворожнечі між місцевим арабським населенням і євреями. Проголошення єврейської держави Ізраїль (1948). лише загострило арабо-єврейські стосунки й зумовило появу проблеми палестинських біженців. Питання, пов’язані з цією проблемою, стали першочерговими завданнями для новоствореної Організації Об’єднаних Націй (ООН), яка з перших днів існування зі всією відповідальністю докладала максимум зусиль для пошуку прийнятних рішень для двох громад, що конфліктували. Однак, незважаючи на активну участь ООН у розв’язанні цих питань відтоді й до сьогодні, особливих успіхів не досягнуто.
