Анотація

Статтю присвячено династичній політиці у період принципату. Автор доводить, що у І – ІІ ст. н.е. виявлялася наступність влади римських імператорів. Династична політика стала складовою системи принципату, хоча безпосередньо законодавством не регулювалася. Її суть полягала у передачі влади обраному імператором наступнику, як правило, його найближчому родичу. Коли цей порядок порушувався, держава, здебільшого, переживала серйозні потрясіння.
